This website was created to present a group project by Team Gamma for the course Elementary Numerical Analysis (Math 317) offered at McGill Univeristy. The following pages of this website demonstrate the utility and versatility of numerical analysis.

The project was to complete 3 parts with 3 questions each. We first explore systems of n non-linear equations using an analog of the Newton-Raphson. We then solve systems of ODEs using and comparing various numerical methods and finally examine a real life problem of the response of nerves to impulses that can be modelled by a system of partial differential equations.

All questions are in .jpg and solutions can be viewed using Adobe Reader as .pdf files. Coding is provided as .m MATLAB files. The reader may wish to navigate using the previous/next links (located bottom right) by following a sequential presentation.
